Are you ready to make an impact at the heart of the energy transition? As a Back Office US Analyst at RWE Supply & Trading, you’ll contribute directly to how renewable and conventional power is traded, settled, and recognized across key North American markets like ERCOT, PJM, MISO, and NYISO.

Job requirements and experience
- Analyzing and ensuring proper revenue recognition for electricity sales via power purchase agreements (PPAs) and merchant contracts
- Managing and supporting timely, accurate invoicing across multiple energy markets, maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external partners
- Conducting meter validation, confirming shadow calculations, and communicating settlement data with precision to Revenue Accounting teams
- Maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our settlement systems (PCI, ENDUR, Excel models) while driving process improvements and innovation projects
- Responding to auditor requests, ensuring compliance and timely completion of supporting schedules
- Building deep market knowledge and sharing learning within the team to foster continuous improvement and best practice
Advantageous, but not essential
- Prior experience working in multiple North American energy markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO)
- Knowledge of financial or ERP systems beyond settlement tools, such as SAP or advanced Endur modules
- Additional language skills or experience collaborating on international projects
