Back of House Team Member (Hiring more than one)
This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position limited to 1,500 hours in a 365-day period and does not entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits. Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-day New Employee Orientation Program.

Purpose of the Position
Under the general direction of the CFA Team Leaders, this position performs food production duties such as food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety and quality. Additional responsibilities include stocking, dish room operation, trash removal, and mopping.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and production needs
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Stock ingredients and supplies
- Perform dish room operations
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness
- Mop and sanitize work areas
- Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, congested areas, and wet environments
- Ability to wear protective footwear
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend recipes and production needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry
- Experience reading and interpreting recipes
- Experience managing production requirements
- Experience with safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment

Pay
$15.53 to $19.41 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
