Back End Developer

About the role

Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Back End Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable backend services for our Marketplace Shopping platform
• Take ownership of complex technical problems, make sound architectural decisions, and participate in design discussions
• Drive solutions from design through implementation and production

Qualifications

• Java – 10~15 years
• Spring Boot/Microservices – 10+ years
• System Design/Distributed Systems – 10+ years
• Kafka/Event-driven architecture – 3+ years
• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL/Relational Databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Marketplace/e-commerce retail experience
• Spring Cache
• GCP
• BigQuery
• Performance optimization
• Experience owning large-scale production systems
• Experience working with highly scalable distributed systems

Pay

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $145,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
