Bachelors/Masters - Construction Intern-(Summer 2027!)

About the role

CDM Smith is looking for a Construction Intern to join our team! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry-leading construction managers and engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. This is a pipeline position for future needs and is not an immediate vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Support various proposals and projects both in the field and the office.
• Field support may include mobilization support, field measurements/layouts, assisting field crew, and project documentation.
• Office support may include contacting subcontractors and vendors, reviewing project documents, attending meetings, and general office assistance.
• Primarily support the project manager, superintendent, and construction specialists.
• Support a multi‑million‑dollar water project in New Mexico.

Requirements

• Approximately 50% travel required.
• Appropriate and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Construction Management or a related discipline (required).
• Construction experience preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay range: USD $21.89 – $38.20 per hour (good‑faith estimate). Bonuses are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position in the United States.
