About the role

CDM Smith office is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2027!

Responsibilities

  • Developing drawings for electrical systems (power, controls, communications, fire alarm, and security) using CADD.
  • Performing electrical calculations using systems analyses software (lighting, load, voltage drop, etc.).
  • Aiding in the development of electrical distribution design plans and single line diagrams.
  • Reviewing shop drawings and assisting with general construction services.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology or realted discipline with an interest in power systems and/or electrical distribution.

Requirements

  • Amount Of Travel Required: 10% or less

Pay

Pay Range Max: USD $42.21

Pay Range Min: USD $24.66
