About the role

After-school sitter needed in Mar Vista (Los Angeles, CA 90066) for two children: a 9‑year‑old daughter and an 11‑year‑old son. You’ll pick up the daughter from elementary school at 4 pm; the son bikes home on his own around the same time. You’ll stay with them until the parent returns around 6–6:30 pm, providing homework help, a snack or dinner, and a calm evening environment.

Schedule

• Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Hours: 4 pm – 6:30 pm (approximately 2.5 hours per day)
• Start date: November 4 (end of week)
• Part‑time, ongoing

Responsibilities

• Pick up 9‑year‑old daughter from school at 4 pm
• Supervise both children until parent arrives (6–6:30 pm)
• Assist with homework
• Prepare/serve snack or dinner

Requirements

• Prior babysitting/nanny experience
