Babysitter required for a family with two children in Richmond, VA.

About the role

After-school sitter/driver needed for 12-year-old twins, approximately three days per week between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Exact days and times will be finalized after discussion, depending on the children’s activities. The family lives near the University of Richmond; school and activities are located between UR and the Gayton/Pump area.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school care and transportation for 12-year-old twins
• Drive children to and from activities in the UR/Gayton/Pump corridor
• Engage in creative and educational activities with the children
• Prepare simple meals/snacks (kitchen skills are a plus)
• Communicate openly with the children — they love to talk

Requirements

• Experienced sitter with a track record of reliability
• Background checked
• Currently enrolled in or graduated from college (verified enrollment required)
• Safe, insured vehicle and a clean driving record
• Flexible schedule to accommodate ~3 days/week, 3–7 PM
• Mature, responsible, and able to follow directions
