Babysitter for School-Aged Children

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our family in Washington, DC. The position involves caring for our four children: a 4-year-old, a 5-year-old, an 8-year-old, and a 10-year-old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the children are prepared for school and make it to the bus stop at 8:00 AM
• Manage transportation for extracurricular activities
• Provide care for the 4-year-old after pre-k (8:30 AM–11:30 AM) until approximately 8:30 PM–9:00 PM
• Handle bedtime care

Schedule

A consistent 3-day work week with varying weekly schedules; adaptable to work independently, especially when the father is asleep during the day due to his mid-shift work.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (driving is a key part of this role)
• Ability to handle pickups and drop-offs
