Babysitter for One-Year-Old

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our one-year-old son, Kaladin, in Grand Rapids, MI. The position involves caring for Kaladin and our 13lb mini Australian Shepard, Jasper, who has anxiety issues but warms up to people well.

Schedule

Primary shift: Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with potential additional hours until 5-6 PM. We are looking for someone available on Wednesdays and potentially another day or half-day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with getting older boys ready for school in the morning
• Keep Kaladin safe, entertained, and fed throughout the day
• Provide companionship and care for Jasper, our mini Australian Shepard
• Help with light household tasks such as maintaining clean main areas, laundry, dishes, or dinner preparation

No driving, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. Involvement with Jasper can be discussed.
