Babysitter for Active Child

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter to care for our almost 7-year-old child in Providence, RI. This position requires a commitment from June 16, 2026, to September 1, 2026, with flexible hours ranging from daytime to evenings and occasional weekends. The average weekly work time will be 10-15 hours. Our child is energetic and enjoys activities such as bike riding, beach outings, and playing with Legos. We are looking for someone who can interact at his level and keep him engaged.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the child at his level and keep him engaged
• Ensure safety around the home, particularly around the two friendly dogs
• Occasional weekend availability

Requirements

• Flexible schedule
• Ability to engage with an energetic 7-year-old
• No need to drive, feed, bathe, or take the child to bed
