Azure Platform Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for an Azure Platform Engineer to join a growing team responsible for building and supporting enterprise data platforms in Azure. This person will focus on infrastructure automation, platform engineering, and supporting cloud-based data services used across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Automate processes and tasks using Python scripting
- Support and engineer data platforms and data services environments
- Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, BigQuery, or similar technologies
Requirements
- Strong Terraform experience, including writing and maintaining reusable modules from scratch
- Hands-on Azure infrastructure and Azure-native services experience
- Python scripting and automation experience
- Experience supporting or engineering data platforms and data services environments li>Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation experience
Qualifications
The ideal candidate comes from a true platform engineering background and has experience building cloud infrastructure with Terraform, automating with Python, and supporting modern data platforms.
Job Type & Location
This is a 18-24 month Contract position based out of Plano, TX, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite.
Pay
The pay rate for this position is $70.24/hr.
