Azure Engineer (US)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, PowerShell automation, infrastructure management, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Azure services, virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Monitor Azure environments and troubleshoot performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
• Implement cloud security, access controls, policies, and best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster-recovery activities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID.
• Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, identity, and access management.
• Experience troubleshooting Azure infrastructure and production environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.

Pay

$100,000–$175,000 per year
