Azure Data Architect

Position Overview

Design, evaluate, and guide modern data architecture within a cloud-based environment. Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and analytics teams to develop high-quality data solutions. Provide architectural direction across the Azure data ecosystem, ensuring scalability and security. Develop and review data models, pipelines, and technical standards. Identify opportunities to improve performance, data quality, and optimize cloud costs.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and guide modern data architecture within a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and analytics teams to develop high-quality data solutions.
• Provide architectural direction across the Azure data ecosystem, ensuring scalability and security.
• Develop and review data models, pipelines, and technical standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, data quality, and optimize cloud costs.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of relevant data architecture / engineering experience.
• Strong Azure Data Architecture experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and experience designing end-to-end data solutions.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate architectural patterns and technologies.
