Azure AKS Architect
Responsibilities
- Interact with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements for new manufacturing solutions.
- Assess requirements and develop a high-level design approach in Tulip.
- Provide effort estimates for: Design, Build, Validation, Deployment.
- Analyze requirement specifications and prepare detailed technical designs aligned with business functions.
- Deploy manufacturing solutions in Opcenter, including interfaces with other systems.
- Review solutions and monitor application performance.
- Supervise the development team and provide technical guidance on solution approaches.
- Install code across: Development, Quality Assurance, Production.
- Ensure installations are completed on schedule using approved Installation Qualification (IQ) documentation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, Kubernetes and Docker containers, DevOps concepts and practices.
- Strong development experience with: .NET and any additional application programming language.
- Experience designing user interfaces and navigation for shop-floor systems.
- Experience writing: SQL queries, stored procedures.
- Experience with Web Services: SOAP, REST APIs, XML, JSON.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Experience with JIRA and qTest.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
- Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
Skills
- Experience with: Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker containers, DevOps.
- Experience designing and building Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for one or more of the following industries: Pharma, Automotive, Hi-Tech, Consumer.
- Experience with Opcenter or other MES platforms.
