Position Summary

The AYA Rooftop Restaurant Server is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests, ensuring exceptional dining experience in a high-end restaurant setting. This role involves taking accurate food and beverage orders, offering menu recommendations with a focus on seasonal menu selections and wine pairings, and delivering orders promptly and correctly.

Essential Functions

• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to be able to explain the menu to guests with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including recommendations for seasonal menu items, cooking preferences, and wine pairings.
• Proficient use of the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the dining room and service stations.
• Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions following company procedures.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned.
