About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In this role, you will manage a thermal components supply chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross-functional teams to help enable AWS’s ISCaP team achieve continuity of supply and cost goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage a thermal components supply chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross-functional teams to help enable AWS’s ISCaP team achieve continuity of supply and cost goals.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
- Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact our supply chain.
- Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
- Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
- Manage supplier relationships and communication, track orders and inventory levels, process purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, coordinate material requirements with internal teams, maintain accurate procurement documentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards across global operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
- Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience
