Responsibilities

  • Identify, quantify, and drive AWS cloud cost optimization opportunities
  • Implement FinOps governance
  • Maximize RI/Savings Plan utilization
  • Conduct Well‑Architected Reviews
  • Deliver measurable cost savings through data‑driven cloud financial management
  • Analyze enterprise AWS cloud spend and identify measurable cost optimization opportunities across compute, storage, databases, containers, networking, and platform services
  • Develop cost allocation, chargeback, and showback models
  • Apply Cloud Financial Management, Unit Economics, and Cost Analysis
  • Perform resource rightsizing and utilization analysis
  • Optimize Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
  • Optimize costs for EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda
  • Optimize storage costs (S3, EBS, EFS)
  • Establish cloud governance and KPI dashboarding
  • Conduct AWS Well‑Architected Cost Optimization Reviews and develop ROI‑based recommendations for business and technology stakeholders

Skills

  • AWS FinOps Analyst
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) / FOCUS certified
  • Strong AWS FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization experience
  • Proficiency with AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, AWS Budgets, Cost & Usage Reporting
  • Experience with CloudHealth, Cloudability, Apptio, and native AWS Cost Management tools
  • Knowledge of AWS Well‑Architected Framework (Cost Optimization Pillar)
  • Terraform skills
  • AWS Cloud expertise (mandatory)
  • Ability to manage CXO / Cloud Business Office / App teams / Platform teams
  • Drive alignment across multiple value streams
  • Participated in Well‑Architected Framework initiatives

  • Bachelor of Computer Science

Pay

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 a year
