AWS Data Engineer

About the role

Hirextra Inc. is seeking a skilled Python developer with expertise in SQL, AWS, and Snowflake to join our team in Atlanta, GA, Baton Rouge, LA, and Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications using AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions using SQL and Snowflake.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Write clear and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience developing Python applications.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
• Strong understanding of SQL and proficiency in Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
