AWS Cloud Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support and operate our cloud infrastructure and application environments. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on maintaining and improving AWS-based systems, containerized workloads, and secure network connectivity.

Essential Functions

• Manage and support AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPCs, security groups, IAM, and load balancers
• Maintain system health, availability, performance, and cost
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and incident response for cloud resources
• Deploy, operate, and maintain Docker-based services and applications
• Support Apache-based web services and related application components
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and connectivity issues across environments
• Configure and maintain VPN solutions (e.g., OpenVPN, WireGuard, or AWS Client VPN)
• Support secure access for employees, vendors, and systems
