AWS Application Architect - Lead

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and teams to support client projects and innovate growth solutions
• Lead and mentor full-stack development teams, providing architectural oversight
• Design and implement scalable, secure distributed systems using cloud-native technologies
• Work with UX designers and engineers to develop resilient software on AWS
• Define application architecture standards and establish best practices for development teams
• Oversee technical decision-making and manage project logistics across multiple initiatives
• Guide proof-of-concept development to validate solution strategies for proposals

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 6-10 years of full-stack application development experience, with 4+ years in leadership/architecture roles
• 5+ years of AWS cloud application development experience
• Expert proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with team leadership experience managing 5+ developers
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design patterns, and modern CI/CD practices
• In-depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile principles, with strong communication skills

Pay

$102,000 – $170,000 annually
