Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (756)

Essential Duties

• Assist with all hands-on direct care which includes but not limited to: showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, meal-time assistance
• Collaborate with an exceptional team to plan and engage in the advocacy and support of our individuals
• Promote optimal health for individuals through routine, preventive, and emergency health care
• Provide support through case management, mobility and transfer assistance, incontinence care, meal preparation and facilitation, organization and maintenance throughout the home, and life skills coaching
• Communicate and collaborate with persons significant to individuals
• Help individuals lead more independent and secure lives in their communities

Requirements

• Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
• High School Diploma, related experience preferred
• Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid MAP certification is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
