AVP, Retail Banking Officer; Ligonier, IN

About the role

As an AVP, Retail Banking Office Manager for our Ligonier South Office, you will drive new business growth by leading service and sales initiatives, executing local campaigns, and participating in the bank's calling program to meet office goals. You will oversee office staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with bank policies, while managing performance, scheduling, and staff development. Additionally, you will enhance office sales performance through regular reviews, coaching, and demonstrating effective sales techniques.

As a new employee, you will receive extensive training at our Lake City University located in Warsaw, Indiana. Our Officer Onboarding program includes a customized training plan with an emphasis on building interpersonal connections to lay a foundation for your success.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth through service and sales initiatives, local campaigns, and participation in the bank's calling program.
• Oversee office staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with bank policies.
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, and development.
• Enhance office sales performance through regular reviews, coaching, and demonstrating effective sales techniques.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of Retail Banking experience.
• Ability to pass the required NMLS registration process in accordance with the SAFE Act requirements.
• Working knowledge of the teller and deposit operations sales platform.
• In-depth knowledge of bank office operations and an understanding of Lake City Bank’s policies and procedures, and how they relate to other areas of the bank.
