AVP, Platform Security

For our client, we are seeking a AVP, Platform Security to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape the enterprise security posture across cloud, container, and AI environments, with a strong focus on platform protection and technical standards. The AVP will partner closely with executive leadership and technology teams to strengthen governance, improve resilience, and advance security capabilities across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to build a scalable security engineering function and influence security culture at the enterprise level. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $185,400 – $375,950 annually Responsibilities Define and execute the enterprise platform security strategy for cloud, container, and AI Establish technical standards for security architecture across all platforms Lead the maturation of AI security as a core enterprise capability Serve as an expert advisor on emerging security risks to senior executives Drive continuous improvements through measurable KPIs and innovation Define and govern security requirements for cloud and container environments Lead the development of a high-performing security engineering organization Qualifications 12+ years in information security or related technology leadership roles 5+ years in senior leadership, building and scaling security engineering teams Deep expertise in cloud security architecture across major platforms Strong understanding of container and Kubernetes security best practices Experience in defining technical security standards for enterprise platforms Familiarity with AI security programs and related governance issues Proven ability to influence security culture across leadership levels Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and wellness programs Retirement savings options Comprehensive benefits supporting physical and emotional well-being Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
