About the Role

The AVP, Perioperative Services will lead and oversee the strategic planning, operations, and continuous improvement of perioperative services at Cincinnati Children's. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care across surgical and procedural areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance perioperative services, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and improve overall patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning among perioperative staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in perioperative services or a related healthcare field.
• Proven track record of strategic planning, operational excellence, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative processes, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment.
