AVP FP&A

About the Role

This is a working manager position within a growing insurance carrier that writes approximately $200M in annual premium and operates across all 50 states. The company has around 200 employees nationally, with the majority of business in Term Life and Accident & Health, and is actively exploring further growth and product expansion.

The AVP of FP&A will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and corporate planning, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and corporate planning
• Partner with the CFO and senior leaders across the business
• Produce financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Improve existing planning and forecasting processes
• Take proactive ownership of the FP&A function and drive the process forward

Requirements

• 10+ years of FP&A or Corporate Finance experience
• Experience owning a budgeting and forecasting process
• Insurance experience preferred (Life Insurance particularly relevant, but P&C, Health, and broader Financial Services backgrounds will be considered)
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership mindset
• Experience with Prophix is beneficial but not essential
