This field sales position focuses on building relationships with Walgreens Directors of Pharmacy and Retail (DPRs), District Managers, and Store Managers in an assigned territory. The role involves selling the benefits of credit programs to meet or exceed credit goals, partnering with the SYF Regional Manager to develop credit strategies, and engaging with Walgreens field leadership through both virtual and in-person support. Based from a home office in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, or Virginia, this role includes a company car.

Responsibilities

  • Drive credit applications and sales to meet or exceed goals.
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships at the DPR, District, and Store levels.
  • Communicate credit performance, business updates, and best practices during Regional and District calls and meetings.
  • Adhere to client guidelines for field interactions with field leadership.
  • Develop credit strategies with DPRs that align with client internal processes and priorities.
  • Audit credit signs and point-of-sale credit materials for compliance.
  • Conduct ongoing credit training.
  • Maximize and leverage credit support and commitment at the District/Store level to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with internal functional leaders.
  • Attend and support store openings, relocation events, or off-site meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in Financial Services or Retail Store Management, or a high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in Financial Services or Retail Store Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Client Relationship Management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must live in the assigned territory.

  • Previous field sales experience is a plus.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $130,000 USD annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will be based on work experience, skill level, or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
