AVP, Field Sales Manager-Verizon (ATL)
About the Role
This role will be a member of a Field Team with Regional responsibilities of Verizon’s corporate and indirect agent locations. The person will support, diagnose, coach, counsel, co-travel, and train store personnel to ultimately accomplish/exceed credit goals within an assigned territory in the southeast part of the U.S. The role is located in the Atlanta area and is based from a home office, requiring significant travel by company car.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on Verizon’s credit program objectives for applications, new accounts, and credit sales through the development and execution of initiatives across stores.
- Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders to influence and educate on the importance of credit, ensuring performance levels are met or exceeded.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive accountability, supporting their brand, culture, and values to deliver on strategic action plans and key program performance indicators.
- Capture and communicate the voice of the field to multiple stakeholders at Synchrony and Verizon, aiding in the development and implementation of initiatives to improve credit performance.
- Visit Verizon stores to assess credit support levels and diagnose territory and store-level performance issues.
- Partner with marketing to support client and field sales strategies, driving improved credit performance.
- Provide tactical support to the client with reporting, analysis, recommendations, and compliance-related information.
- Act as the point-of-contact for the Synchrony Financial Compliance team to ensure point-of-sale (POS) and in-store compliance.
- Develop methodologies to collect competitive intelligence and identify market opportunities.
- Support the Sales Force Effectiveness Manager(s) in the development and use of Salesforce, Seismic, and other brand strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in Financial Services or Retail Store Management, or HS diploma/GED and 5+ years’ experience in these fields.
- Minimum 3 years of Field or outside sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Client Relationship/Development Management experience.
- Experience working with C-Suite level management.
- Proficiency in developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with 50% overnight travel required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will be based on work experience, skill level, or knowledge, and adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
Schedule
This role requires 75% travel, with 50% overnight travel.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints during onboarding.
- Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship is available.
