AVP-Cybersecurity Engineer
About the role
The AVP-Cybersecurity Engineer supports the Identity, Risk and Controls team in managing user access certifications, analyzing identity data, and delivering automation solutions that strengthen access controls across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage the user access certification process across the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Analyze identity and access data to validate certification accuracy and identify potential risks or discrepancies.
- Develop and deliver automation technologies to replace manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with intra- and inter-team partners to ensure seamless execution of identity and access control processes.
- Provide guidance and support to users on application features and best practices related to access certifications.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of access control frameworks in alignment with SOC, SOX, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Communicate analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the team and make informed decisions to support operational and risk management objectives.
Requirements
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of tools such as Active Directory, Office 365, Power BI, and Power Automate; experience with Identity Management technologies and access certifications is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
- Experience with SOC, SOX, and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
- Experience developing scripts or automated workflows (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar) to streamline access certification processes.

Pay
The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $140,200 - $230,000 depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
Schedule
This position may be considered a promotional opportunity, pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
