AVP– Cyber and E&O Insurance Broker

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Cyber/E&O insurance marketplace and our team’s offerings.
• Demonstrate ability to place a layered program ($50M+) from start to finish.
• Direct communication with executive level client contacts (C-Suite).
• Own all aspects of client service for your assigned book of business and new business opportunities in coordination with other team members and by using the deal flow process.
• Apply effective negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients.
• Use data, own experience, others’ perspectives, and a clear methodology to improve client programs and build opportunities with prospective client programs.
• Work in an Aon United fashion to cross-sell Cyber Solutions products and services.
• Proactively develop and complete a pipeline strategy for new business.
• Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking process and client service process.
• Understand the causes of E&O and adopt practices to reduce exposure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of years in brokering and/or underwriting experience within Cyber/E&O lines.
• Confirmed ability to drive results at an individual and team level.
• Ability to communicate at the C-Suite level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Active Property & Casualty License or willingness to acquire one upon hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain P&C license within 120 days of hire.

Skills

• Effective underwriter relationships to improve broking results.
• Mentorship of more junior team members.

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 annually.
