About the role
Established broker dealer client is seeking a corporate actions specialist to join its asset servicing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of global Corporate Action events, including reconciliations and fails management.
- Process fixed income events including P&I, calls, maturities, conversions, defaults, bankruptcies, and consent events.
- Support DTC, Euroclear, and foreign depository settlement processes.
- Lead proxy voting activities and shareholder reporting requirements.
- Process 144A/Reg S bond conversions and Corporate Actions related to Repo and Stock Loan positions.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions while meeting critical deadlines.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, brokers, custodians, and clients to improve processes and enhance STP.
- Maintain documentation and controls to support regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Corporate Actions or Asset Servicing experience.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income products, DTC, Euroclear, and global settlement processes.
- Experience with Repo, Stock Loan, and 144A/Reg S securities.
- Strong Excel skills; Client N-APe experience preferred.
