AVP Applied AI, Small Business

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and risk outcomes for large, complex AI portfolios across multiple teams
• Ensure AI solutions deliver measurable business value and comply with security standards
• Lead and develop high-performing AI teams while maintaining delivery discipline
• Provide technical direction and oversight for AI portfolio standards and practices
• Evaluate architectural decisions and guide leaders through risk assessments
• Accountable for portfolio evaluation and monitoring frameworks and their governance
• Set expectations for unstructured data management and ensure regulatory alignment
• Partner with senior leaders to influence funding and align AI delivery with business outcomes

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in relevant fields
• 7–10+ years of experience leading leaders and large complex programs
• Strong technical and regulatory understanding of applied AI operations
• Applied experience with unstructured data and retrieval techniques
• Deep knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI practices
• Proven capability in translating strategies into multi-year execution plans
• Exceptional data-driven communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders
