AVP-Agency Relationship Manager
About the role
This senior leadership position develops and manages RoundPoint’s program to support relationships with Agencies including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, FHA, VA, USDA, and Rating Agency partners. The AVP - Agency Relationship Manager will collaborate with line-of-business leaders to create a best-in-class program that fosters operational excellence and exceeds Agency and Rating Agency requirements. This role reports to the VP – Client Management & Client Billing and is part of the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the framework to foster excellent relationships with the Agencies:
- Understand and document Agency requirements
- Stay up to date on announcements regarding Agency process changes
- Educate the various lines of business and key stakeholders on requirements
- Establish internal performance reporting to monitor adherence to requirements
- Work closely with Compliance on internal testing and monitoring of requirements for adherence
- Execute on the Agency framework with key stakeholders:
- Manage portfolio performance related to Agency requirements
- Track and respond to Agency inquiries
- Lead reviews and audits performed by the Agencies
- Manage participation in Agency Scorecards and benchmarking
- Coordinate projects to improve processes measured through the scorecards
- Organize and host regular Agency check-in meetings and onsite visits
- Lead and track reviews and audits performed by the Rating Agencies
- Regularly review the effectiveness of the framework to make adjustments for improvements
- Coordinate and manage Agency and Rating Agency special requests
- Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of cost center

- Other duties as necessary or assigned to support the overall growth of RoundPoint
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in the mortgage servicing industry
- Strong understanding of Agency requirements
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage teams
- Expertise at consensus and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
- Results-oriented with a track record of delivering quantifiable results to the organization
- Ability to lead multiple projects
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively through speech and hearing, both in-person and over the phone
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally stand and walk
- Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently sitting but occasionally involving standing or walking short distances
- May occasionally climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regular use of hands and fingers for tasks like keyboarding, operating office equipment, and filing documents
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and potentially up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Ability to observe details at close range, such as viewing a computer screen, reviewing documents, and performing data analysis
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, and no extreme conditions are present
