AVP Actuary, Annuity Pricing

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $230,000 – $255,000 annually

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of pricing actuaries
• Engage in the development and enhancement of annuity products
• Evaluate and enhance the annuity pricing framework
• Design adaptable products considering market changes
• Secure product approvals through governance committees
• Lead product filing efforts with the compliance team
• Create transparency around pricing methodologies and results
• Collaborate with finance and risk management on pricing strategies
• Champion innovation and leverage emerging technologies to enhance pricing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial experience
• FSA designation with 3 years post-FSA experience
• In-depth knowledge of annuity products and pricing methodologies
• Experience leading product development from concept to launch
• Strong financial acumen in Statutory and GAAP reporting frameworks
• Proven leadership track record in coaching actuarial talent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional leaders
• Strategic mindset with change management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
