AVP, Actuarial Science

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage actuarial expertise aligned with company strategy
• Oversee actuarial functions to meet business needs
• Implement improvements to actuarial models and processes
• Represent Actuarial Services to external stakeholders
• Support financial reporting and decision-making processes
• Align Actuarial Services with Finance for better business insight
• Maintain best practices for actuarial processes and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or related field
• Ten years of experience in the actuarial industry, with five years in management preferred
• Five years of healthcare actuarial experience, including Medicaid and Medicare Advantage
• Experience with state and federal regulatory interactions
• Demonstrated communication skills with internal senior leaders

Pay

$150,000 – $300,000 annually
