About the role
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to aircraft maintenance and avionics systems. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components as needed. You will work closely with other aviation professionals to ensure that all aircraft are safe and operational.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and removal of avionics components
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in avionics systems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in aviation maintenance or avionics
- Valid FAA Part 147 or Part 66 license
- Knowledge of avionics systems and aircraft maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with aircraft navigation systems
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Pay
$50,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
