AVIONICS TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Maintains and installs avionics systems
• Performs complex troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics systems and equipment
• Operates various Digital and Analog Test Sets for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems
• Performs minor metal repairs such as extracting bad screws, replacing racks, etc.
• Sweeps and compensates aircraft compass systems
• Troubleshoots aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals
• Installs and performs ground and flight checks of all avionics systems
• Ensures all work is performed to FAA and Dassault standards

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience
• Minimum two (2) years' experience as an Avionics Technician in a business jet environment
• Owns tools required to perform job
• Able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers

Pay

The compensation for this position typically falls between $26.64 and $55.50 per hour/per year. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance.
