Responsibilities
- Maintains and installs avionics systems
- Performs complex troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics systems and equipment
- Operates various Digital and Analog Test Sets for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems
- Performs minor metal repairs such as extracting bad screws, replacing racks, etc.
- Sweeps and compensates aircraft compass systems
- Troubleshoots aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals
- Installs and performs ground and flight checks of all avionics systems
- Ensures all work is performed to FAA and Dassault standards
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience
- Minimum two (2) years' experience as an Avionics Technician in a business jet environment
- Owns tools required to perform job
- Able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Pay
The compensation for this position typically falls between $26.64 and $55.50 per hour/per year. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance.
