Avionics Technician

About the role

We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to join our team and support our BEST program by performing phase maintenance and modification/installation on UH-60 helicopters. The role involves installing glass cockpits and autopilot systems to ensure the highest standards of aviation excellence. This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position based out of Guntersville, AL, offering stable employment through 2027 on the BEST program with opportunities for advancement and more projects to follow.

Responsibilities

• Perform phase maintenance on UH-60 helicopters.
• Conduct modification and installation tasks on avionics systems.
• Install glass cockpits and autopilot systems.
• Ensure all work is completed to aviation standards.

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in avionics modification and installation.
• Proficiency in working with UH-60 or similar rotary-wing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with radar, navigation, and communication systems.
• Must possess own tools for avionics work.
• Experience with various helicopter platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of avionics systems and components.
