Avionics Manager
About the role
The Avionics Manager will oversee all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and direct maintenance personnel. They will also support maintenance material control, including system software and special tools/equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Direction of maintenance personnel
- Support maintenance material control, such as system software and special tools/equipment
- Oversight of major and minor inspections
- Launch and recovery of the aircraft
- Supply of all Contractor owned spares and support equipment through a Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP)
- Repair and overhaul of all repairable spares at FAA certified repair stations
- Maintenance and repair of all support equipment
Qualifications
- 15 years or more of aircraft avionics maintenance experience
- 10 years or more on King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft
- Managing complex aircraft avionics modifications
- 5 years or more experience with electronic flight instrument systems to include advanced troubleshooting
- Possess a current Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General Radio Telephone Operator License
- Able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance
Compensation
Compensation details: 80K - 90K.
