Avionics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own avionics system-level design and architecture
• Prototype and validate flight computers, communication systems, power and ADCS electronics
• Develop test infrastructure (flatsat, GPS sim, power sim, comms sim)
• Lead qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, thermal vacuum)
• Debug, iterate, and deliver flight hardware

Requirements

• Designed and validated PCBAs for the space environment or other high-performance environments/vehicles
• Owned multiple high-reliability electronics subsystems from concept to deployment
• Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable with autonomy and high-speed iteration

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in spacecraft, satellites, aerospace, or high-performance adjacent fields

Pay

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $225,000 (dependent on experience, level, and location)
