Aviation Senior Captain

About the role

In this role you will serve as Aviation Senior Caption of Yum! Brands’ corporate aircraft, maintaining ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all flight activities. Ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service are consistently delivered to passengers and crew while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Yum! aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR 91, while working as part of a cohesive, fast-paced team.
• Plans and coordinates all aspects of trips assigned.
• Ensures company policy and regulatory requirements are complied with on flights assigned to act as a crew member.
• Serve as a mentor & positive role model for all team members by demonstrating adherence to policy and industry best practices.
• Provides feedback related to crew member performance or operational enhancements to Director, Aviation.
• Provides leadership to assigned functional teams within department.

People Leadership

• Campus and contract pilots
• Numerous relationships with outside training vendors, service providers, industry focus groups, and OEM's

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate with at least two unrestricted Type Ratings; the EMB-550 Type Rating is preferred.
• 5,000 hrs minimum flight time
• 2,000 hrs minimum Jet PIC
• Possess a valid 1st class Medical Certificate
• No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with corporate executives, regulatory agencies, and department personnel
• Possess a four-year college degree or an equivalent 10 -year industry experience.
