This position is with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and involves a comprehensive federal benefits package for employees and their families.
Required Documents
- Front and back copy of your FAA Mechanic Certificate (ALL applicants MUST provide)
- Most recent SF-50 (Notification of Personnel Action) verifying current position, title, series, grade, tenure, and organization of record (ALL applicants MUST provide)
- For FAA employees: SF-50 must contain information in Blocks 15, 17, 18, 19, 22, and 24 to verify position title, series, grade, tenure, and organization of record by the closing date of the announcement
- If faxing the SF-50, include the vacancy announcement number on the faxed copy
- If relying on education to meet qualification requirements: provide attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

- Failure to provide ALL required information may result in an ineligible rating or affect the overall rating
