Aviation Project Manager
About the role
Ardurra is seeking an Aviation Project Manager for its growing Aviation Group. This fully-remote opportunity is open to candidates residing in Florida. The role offers flexibility to work where you thrive while contributing to impactful aviation projects.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will oversee projects, serve as a client manager for airport design and construction projects within specific regions, provide mentoring to junior staff, lead quality assurance and quality control efforts, and play a strategic role in expanding Ardurra's aviation presence through client relationship management and business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- PE License
- 8+ years' experience in the airport design and/or construction field, either in private industry or government service
- Airport design, construction administration, and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the aviation group
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
