Responsibilities

  • Maintains proper inventory levels and ensures timely receiving, inspecting, shipping, and storage of materials.
  • Supports maintenance technicians by providing prompt access to materials needed for line, overnight, and heavy check operations.
  • Trains team members in all aspects of stockroom operations, including computerized management, issuance of materials, hazmat training, shelf life training, cycle counting, storage, packaging, receiving, disposal of hazardous, scrap, or BER materials, and compliance with current Shelf-Life Programs and hazardous materials storage guidelines.
  • Maintains training records and monitors recurrent training requirements to ensure team members are current on all relevant training.
  • Conducts performance reviews for the Stores Team using established PSA company guidelines.
  • Schedules the Stores Team to adequately support PSA fleet activity at all times.
  • Maintains proper storage, segregation, and labelling of parts/materials, ensuring compliance with current Shelf-Life Programs and hazardous materials storage guidelines.
  • Coordinates parts issuance/transfer for scheduled overnight maintenance or AOG Heavy Check maintenance situations as needed.
  • Ensures that incoming parts are inspected in accordance with procedures and that rejected materials are tagged and stored according to established guidelines.
  • Manages the inventory control program to ensure accurate identification and retrieval of parts/materials in support of PSA fleet requirements.
  • Performs tasks related to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience with aircraft parts and supervision.
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA preferred.

Skills

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Regional Manager of Stores Operations.

Absences: None.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.
