Aviation Mechanic

About the role

We operate a repair station serving Northern Nevada, primarily working on helicopters and small GA fixed‑wing aircraft. The position is open to new graduates and offers helicopter experience. We maintain FAR 135/133/137/91 aircraft and provide remote repair services for AOG customers. Located in Elko, NV, the area offers outdoor recreation and a small‑town setting; summer or longer‑term assignments are possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections on helicopters and small GA fixed‑wing aircraft
• Work on FAR 135/133/137/91 aircraft
• Provide remote repair services for aircraft experiencing AOG at other airports
• Conduct annual inspections and other scheduled maintenance tasks
• Respond to weekend and after‑hour call‑outs as needed

Requirements

• Basic A&P skill set (certification implied)
• Willingness to learn and develop further skills
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Must complete a 90‑day trial period before becoming eligible for benefits

Pay

$18.00 – $40.00 per hour (AP1 steps: $18, $25, $30/hr; AP2/AP3 higher based on experience)

Schedule

Standard hours: 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday. Weekend and after‑hour call‑outs available with premium pay.
