Aviation Maintenance Field Support Representative with Security Clearance

SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide functional and technical support to the diverse community of users for all Unit assigned aircraft systems, deployable servers, aircraft web applications, and systems software.
• Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge and skills with aircraft systems and software.
• Aid in the fielding of new hardware and software.
• Provide over-the-shoulder training for all aircraft software users.
• Research conflicts of data entries in customer historical forms and records to assure quality historical records for the fielded unit.
• Assist in the certification and validate all historical aircraft and log book records with customer to assure accuracy.
• Report data quality issues to Unit personnel.
• Provide Tier I/II Helpdesk support to on-site and remote locations.
• Maintain and update an electronic database of common procedural issues and solutions or work-arounds to known issues.
• Capture and file electronic trouble reports and software change requests.
• Cook up and perform hardware replacements and repairs.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server in order to research issues within Database and assist customers in data mining.
• Diagnose system failures to isolate the source of problems between equipment, hardware components and software applications. Implement corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory users and computers.
• Test and evaluate all DIME software prior to release to customers.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of aviation maintenance manuals and policies for all Regiment associated aircraft.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the AMSO.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, related technical discipline.
• 15 years' experience in Army aircraft maintenance.
• Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or Interim Secret security clearance*.
