Aviation Classroom Trainer

Responsibilities

Training & Development:

  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for cabin cleaners, janitorial staff, and supervisors.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Provide hands-on instruction for aircraft cabin cleaning, including galleys, lavatories, and seating areas.
  • Ensure team members are trained on company standards, client requirements, and SOPs.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Train employees on OSHA, FAA, and airport authority regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling.
  • Conduct safety briefings, audits, and refresher training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certifications.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct site observations and inspections to ensure proper cleaning techniques and service delivery.
  • Identify performance gaps and retrain employees as needed.
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with Operations Managers and Supervisors to support workforce readiness.
  • Aid in new account startups, transitions, and special projects.
  • Schedule training sessions across multiple shifts and sites.

Requirements

  • Valid State Driver's License for a minimum of 1 year.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in aviation services, janitorial, or facilities management.
  • Previous training or instructional experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft cabin cleaning procedures strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, FAA, and airport safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to train diverse groups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work inside aircraft cabins and in airport ramp/terminal environments.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
