About the role
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) to join our team. We are a leading private duty nursing company that provides compassionate home care to children and adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate nature are essential.
