About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) to join our award-winning team. We currently have openings in Metairie and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in their homes
• Document patient care electronically
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Adhere to state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN)
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable transportation

Pay

Compensation varies based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shifts available include full-time, part-time, and PRN positions, covering days, nights, and weekends.
