AV Technology Sales Manager-K-12

Responsibilities

  • Develop business relationships with all levels of management within Colleges, Universities, and select K-12 school districts.
  • Train end users on AV technology products to advance market solutions.
  • Perform initial technical phone support for AV related products.
  • Support clients/end users on support requests, product pricing information, trade-show follow up, system design, and literature requests.
  • Work with procurement policies, information technology procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization.
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal).
  • Show strong attention to detail and be highly organized.
  • Be computer literate and able to work in a fast-paced professional office environment.
  • Have expertise in AV or electronics industries.
  • Have experience working within a Higher Education and/or K-12 School District environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, with a strong technical background, developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Working knowledge of procurement policies, information technology procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.

Skills

  • Expertise in AV or electronics industries.

Pay

  • 50% minimum travel required.
