Av Technician

We're seeking an experienced AV Installation Technician to join a growing team supporting technology projects.

About the role

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting audio visual systems, including video conferencing solutions, projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, and control systems. Company-paid travel is required, including occasional weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality AV solutions from installation through end-user training.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot audio visual systems
• Work with video conferencing solutions, projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, and control systems
• Perform infrastructure cabling and system commissioning
• Read and interpret technical diagrams
• Provide end-user training
• Lead projects or mentor junior technicians (preferred)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AV installations
• Experience with technologies such as Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Solid understanding of signal flow, audio, video, and control systems
• Video wall installation experience (preferred)
• Commissioning expertise (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
